Issue of Muslim youth raping a Hindu girl at Mowad (Dist. Nagpur). Home Minster backs Muslim accused !!!

No need of such Home Minister who backs up criminals for kowtowing to Muslims !

Mumbai (Maharashtra) : On 2^nd August at Mowad (Dist. Nagpur), Firoz Shaikh, a worker of NCP forced a Hindu girl to come to the room of Constable Pramod Tabhane, threatened her and molested her. It created enragement among the locals. Police, however, were indifferent; therefore, people had to resort to demonstration of their strong feelings and police resorted to firing resulting in killing of one person besides injuring 3. Mr. Eknath Khadase, the leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly made a demand that judicial inquiry should be conducted in the above case; but Mr. R.R. Patil, the State Home Minister informed that nothing had come out of the inquiry or the girl had also not given any statement to that effect. (Home Minister takes side of the police being from the same department ! How can Hindus, although in majority in the State, feel secure when the Home Minister goes to meet Kasab and backs up Muslim criminals? )

The Opposition members, however, became aggressive; therefore, Mr. Patil announced of conducting inquiry through a retired Judge. Mr. Khadase had made a demand to discuss the issue by bringing up adjournment proposal; but the Chairman Dilip Valase-Patil granted permission to hold discussion for short time. Home Minister (HM) Patil said further, “Constable Tabhane was not present on duty, when such incident occurred. Inhis absence, his room was entered by breaking the lock. (On one hand, the HM agrees that the accused broke open the lock to enter and on the other hand, he claims that there was no proof of occurrence of such incident. What for the accused then broke open the lock to enter the room, was it for just resting there? ) Even then, Tabhane has been suspended and Shaikh has been taken into custody by the police. If Tabhane is found to be guilty in this case, he would not remain in service.” MLA Nabab Malik of NCP tried to give a different perspective to the issue by saying, “The case should be investigated through a Judge so that the true faces behind the issue would come out in the open as they try to defame people from certain community only for publicity and hatch a plot to start riots. If we study the past records, it would be observed that whenever inter caste/community marriages take place, there is increase in incidents of riots that are politically motivated.”
